(report) The HK Daily News: Visiting Chinese official Lu Ping has indirectly indicated that he has no intention of holding an official meeting with the Umelco Basic Law panel.

Lu Ping: A new unit will soon be set up under the State Council's HK and Macau Affairs Office to conduct researches on HK and Macau. The setting up of the new unit had nothing to do with the Basic Law.
