Lu Ping (told Heung Yee Kuk members): The Basic Law will spell out clearly the method of selecting the future HK SAR chief executive.

Sing Pao: Reliable sources said visiting Chinese official Lu Ping has asked a BLDC member who is also a Legco Unofficial to act as the middle man to persuade the other Legco Unofficials to take the

initiative and seek a meeting with the delegation of Chinese experts led by him.

suggestion that foreign legal experts should be hired to draft the Basic Law.
