Members of the BLCC
special group on HK's political system agree in general that the SAR legislature should be constituted by both direct and indirect elections. Some members suggest that the SAR legislature should have wider powers than the present Legco and should be given the power to dismiss the SAR chief
executive.
BLCC member Man Sai-cheong: Chinese members of the BLDC special group studying the relationship between HK and the Central People's Government will pay a ten-day
fact-finding visit to HK next month. These
members included Vice-Foreign Minister Zhou Nan and other
senior Chinese officials
