LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL (ELECTORAL PROVISIONS) (REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS AND APPOINTMENT OF AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES)
(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1986
Made by the Governor in Council under section 19
Citation and commencement.
1.
These regulations may be cited as the
Legislative Council (Electoral Provisions) (Registration
of Electors and Appointment of Authorized Representatives)
(Amendment) Regulations 1986 and shall come into
operation on 1 April 1986.
Addition of Part IX.
(L.N. 89/85.)
2. The principal regulations are amended by adding
after Part VIII the following -
"PART IX
APPLICATIONS FOR INCLUSION IN FINAL
REGISTER BY MEMBERS OF THE
REGIONAL COUNCIL
Registration of Regional Council
members as electors.
29. The registration officer shall
compile and publish a final register of
persons entitled to be registered in
1986 as electors in the Regional Council
electoral college constituency
