The Financial Secretary addressed the Council and moved the
following motion:
Under section 4 of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance that,
with effect from 2.30 p.m. on 26 February 1986, the resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council on 27 April 1983 and published as Legal Notice No. 148 of 1983, as subsequently amended, be further amended
(a) under the heading DUTIES ON TOBACCO by deleting
all that appears immediately following "Duty shall be payable on tobacco at the following rates per kilogram ", up to and including "(b) Other varieties
