to consider whether and to what
extent any of the recommendations
can be supported;
in respect of those recommendations
that can be supported to consider
in what manner and over what period
of time they should be implemented;
to establish orders of cost
involved; and
to report back to the Industry
Development Board.
3.
The Sub-Committee will be chaired by the Director
of Industry, but will have as its members mainly unofficials
with experience in the relevant fields of trade and industry.
Appointments of members to the Sub-Committee are in progress
and as soon as these are finalised, the Sub-Committee will
be able to commence its deliberations.
4.
In addition to establishing this sub-committee,
Government has circulated copies of the study to the plastics
industry associations and other interested bodies.
