In addition to the road closures it is necessary to modify
existing road network under Section 17 of the Ordinance by widening the roads as shown coloured yellow on drawing no. TWC/328A. Sections of the
width of Castle Peak Road, of Kwai Chung Road and of Cheung Wing Road may
have to be closed temporarily during construction of the works but traffic
will be maintained throughout the period.

An order under Section 17 will be sought as and when necessary.
Service apparatus to be altered or diverted
7.
The secretary for Lands and Works proposes to exercise his powra
under Section 20 of the Ordinance to require the alteration, diye
removal or abandonment of existing watermains, gas pipes, telephone cables
and electricity cables, fire hydrants and ancillary installations and any
other service apparatus lying within the limits of the works area.

Removal of Obstructions
8.
The Secretary for Lands and Works proposes to exercise his powers
under Section 21 of the Ordinance to remove the following obstructions where
such removal in necessary for the purpore of the mid works or the use.
(a) The signs and ancillary structures attached to
Ground Floor and 1st floor ECTL llo. 188 at 1001,
Kwai Chung Road, Kwai Chung.
