Directions by the Governor
1) Elicitation of public response:
the Survey
Office shall invite groups, associations,
statutory and non-statutory bodies and
individuals to consider the issues discussed in
the Green Paper and to forward their views in
writing to the Survey Office; and take
appropriate steps to encourage as wide a
response as possible.
2) Public opinion surveys: the Survey Office
shall take note of such professional surveys as
may be conducted on these matters.
3) Confidentiality
documents in respect of
which confidentiality has been requested by the
contributor shall be treated accordingly and
within three months after the Report of the
Survey Office has been submitted to the
Governor, shall be destroyed.
4). Media reports: the Survey Office shall
monitor views as reported in the media, to the
extent that these complement, and do not
duplicate other submissions.
