(Ji Pengfei): The Exco & Legco set-up might not be retained after 1997 and any change in HK's political system during the transition should be discussed by the UK and China.
Non-communist Papers
(Ming Pao): Differences over political reforms could easily be resolved as long as both countries adhered to the Joint Declaration. As HK's future political system would be decided by the Basic Law, the BLCC would be playing an important role.
