I can't predict that, but I think
it is constructive dialogue, Michael.
*Q."
When you do have your Green Paper,
or your white Paper, before it is published, the '87 one, do you think
it will be shown to the Chinese beforehand? Just to say, right this
is what we are going to tell the public in Hong Kong. These are the options that they will be asked to choose from. Do you think you will
let them have a sneak preview of this?

I think you are going ahead too far,
to say exactly what will happen in 1987.
Q.
No, I mean it is a fact that there
will be a Green Paper leading up to a White Paper in the '87 Review.
A.
Yes.

Q.
So, it is not going too far to ask
you whether you will show this Green Paper to the Chinese, and say, look these are options we are putting out. They may choose this, this, or that, but these are the options that we are putting to the people of Hong Kong. Including direct elections, indirect, whatever, whatever. Will you let them have a look at it before you actually call for
comment on all these options?
A.
I can't say precisely what the form of informing the Chinese Government of what is in the 1987 Review will be, at this time. But clearly the Chinese Government have a deep interest
in it.
Q.
Which means you will show them but
