First meeting of Joint Liaison Group (JLG) took place in
London July 1985; second meeting in

second meeting agreement reached in principle on the wording of an endorsement for BN(O) passports concerning holders' right of abode
in Hong Kong.
Endorsement will be of help in securing wide
international recognition of BN (O) passport.
