The Prime Minister is to see Sir Y K Pao on 21 March. It would be helpful to have a short brief beforehand. Sir Y K has asked whether he could bring, for part of the meet- ing at least, Mr. Li Ka-Shing, Chairman of the Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd and Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. I should be grateful to know whether you see any objection to this.
