Dr. Richard Bulter, JP
Aged 51. Dr. Butler joined the civil service as an Assistant
Commissioner for Transport in June 1970. He transferred to become
an Administrative Officer Staff Grade C in April 1974 and was promoted
to his present rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade B in
September 1978. He has extensive experience in the former Economic
and Environment Branches, was Deputy Regional Secretary (New Territories)
from April to December 1982 and has been the Police Administration
Officer since January 1983.
Mr. Keith Broadbridge, JP
Aged 51.
Mr. Broadbridge was appointed as Controller,
Pay Investigation Unit in February 1971 and Pay Adviser in February 1973.
He joined the Administrative Service as an Administrative Officer Staff
Grade C in August 1975 and was promoted to his present rank of
Administrative Officer Staff Grade B in April 1981. He was a
Principal Assistant Secretary in the Civil Service Branch from
1973 to 1978, Deputy Commissioner of Trade Industry and Customs
from 1979 to 1982, Deputy Commissioner of Customs and Excise from
1982 to 1984, and has been a Deputy Secretary for Transport since
January 1985.
Mr. Colin Greenfield, JP
Aged 49. Mr. Greenfield first served as an Assistant
Comissioner for Census and Statistics from September 1973 to
November 1975, on secondment from the UK civil service. He joined
the Hong Kong civil service in May 1978 and has since then been the
Commissioner for Census and Statistics.
