The Government announced today
following senior directorate movements
and appointments:
Mr Peter TSAO Kwang-yung, the
present Secretary for Adminis-
trative Services and
Information,will take over from
Mr Derek Jones in early May as
Minister for Hong Kong Commercial
Relations with the European
Communities and the Member States.
He is expected to remain in Brussels
for a period of about one year;
Mr Derek Jones will then be posted
to London as adviser on trade policy
and commercial relations matters;
Mr James SO Yiu-cho, who is currently
the Deputy Commissioner for Transport,
will act as Secretary for Administrative
Services and Information during
Mr Tsao's absence, following which
he will take up another post;
