To improve contacts between British Companies and Vietnamese trading organisations.

2. To improve knowledge of barter and counter trade practices and determine where these might provide worthwhile opportunities for British exporters.

To obtain Vietnamese provision of prompt and adequate consular access to any individuals for whom we have consular responsibility.
