When the illegal immigrants arrived a few years ago, I felt as others ald, hat the policy was the only way to stop the floods of refugees arriving. But the slowness of resettlement abroad has already achieved this objective, and I for one have changed my stance. Enough is enough. These human beings cannot continue in isolation, separation and imprisonment for the rest of their lives. Now is the time for a rethink.
The first step surely is to put the imigrants into open ups under Un control of secular authorities and of que reptocenlativen in lobs
motowded, more healthy surroundings, reunive them with their emiliec, give nedical treatment to the addicts, lesture their hove and morale, and let their resettlement roads be made krown once more to the world, especially these countries involved in the Vietmum war,

The countries which must loudly prontain in rights (eg. .. n C.5.4.) seem quite nappy to ignore the fact that tregu "heat people" are being deprived or their caric human right to a fair trial, efore imprisonment In closed camps. It is time for British and other cliticians to spean cat
this problem and restore human rights. We cannot commit reggle to life inprisonment fox no crime except that of illegal immi yr tion.
