7. Balfe Report on Turkey: Balfe (UK, Soc) accused Taylor (EDG) of a breach of parliamentary privilege by disclosing to the Turkish authorities the contents of a confidential letter on human rights there from the
Commission representative in Ankara. President Pflimlin promised to look into the matter.

Roelants du Vivier, MEP : Parliament adopted a resolution calling on the Belgian authorities to suspend proceedings against this Belgian MEP who had been arrested on 23 April 1985 for entering the military base at Florennes where cruise
