We think it only right, therefore, to put it on record that we cannot be optimistic at the chances of preventing the application of new regimes by other Governments to British nationals without Right of Abode (including Hong Kong citizens (BNO)) who may have enjoyed visa free travel in the past. are of course well aware of the political overtones concerning Hong Kong and will continue to press for the utmost benefits for BNOS in any future agreements.
