MEMORANDUM OF TRANSFER

BE IT REMEMBERED that the Governor acting on behalf of the Colonial Government has transferred and made over to the

Office Commanding Troops, liuth China who has accepted the same on

behalf of the Secretary of State for War the right of perpetu- al user until no longer required for War Department use as

hereinafter explained of all that piece or parcel of land situate in the Dependency of Kowloon and Colony of Hong Kong containing by admeasurement One Million two hundred and twenty two Thousand four hundred and fifty Square Feet and particul- arly delineated on the plan annexed hereto and thereon colour -ed red and described as "War Department Land, Gun Club Hill, Kowloon". The said land when no longer required for Military

purposes shall revert to the Colonial Government in accordan ce with Colonial Office Circulars of the 9th June 1890 and

the 30th: December 1894.
