MEMORANDUM OF APPROPRIATION
THIS AGREEMENT made the
day of
One thousand nine hundred and
BETWEEN
the Governor of Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as "the Covermor") of the
one part AND Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Defence (herein-
after referred to as "the Secretary of State") of the other part VITRESSETH ·
that all that piece of land situated at
containing

square metres or thereabouts delincatod
on the plan annexed hereto and intended
to be known and registered in the Land Office as Kinistry of Defence
Lot No.
(which piece of land together with all buildings,
installations and other fixtures now standing thercon or to be erected
thereon is hereinafter referred to as "the said lend") IS though remaining
vested in the Crown HEREBY APPROPRIATED AND SET APANT for the use of the
Secretary of State for purposes in connection with the maintenance of the
garrison and the defence of Hong Kong on the following terms and conditions :
The said land shall be used by the Secretary of State only

for the purpose of
cr for such other purpose in connection with the maintenance of the
garricon and the defence of Hong Kong as shall from time to time be
agreed by the parties hereto (hereinafter referred to as "the said
purposes").
