Tin Tin Daily News: The method proposed by the six-member working group in forming the BLCC is basically reasonable and in line with the wishes of HK people.

Eight Urbco members at an informal meeting on BL drafting: Urbco should be represented on the BLCC.

Drafting member Dr Raymond Wu: The process of drafting the Basic Law will be similar to that of drafting the BLCC constitutions. The actual drafting work will be done by a core group and the draft will be discussed by the BLDC.

HKU law lecturer Albert Chen He is disappointed that the draft constitution of the BLCC does not specify to whom should the committee be responsible.

Association of Democracy for HK: Community sectors should not be mainly concerned with their sectional interests and the number of BLCC seats they will get. They should put more emphasis on the overall well-being of the territory.
