HK drafting committee member Mr Justice Li: Members of the six-member working group set up to draft a constitution for the consultative panel have reached an identity of views. The group will hold its last meeting on August 14 to finalise the draft constitution. The draft will then go before the 25 drafting members in HK at their meeting on August 20.
* HK drafting committee member Liu Yiu-chu: The Basic Law consultative committee should have the
power to co-opt more members in order to allow for a greater degree of flexibility.
