Statement issued after the first meeting of the HK drafting members on July 17: The HK drafting members will set up a preparatory office to help establish the consultative committee with the assistance of the NCNA HK branch. A six-member working group would be set up to study the terms of reference of the consultative committee. Mr Justice Li is the convenor of the working group and the members are Liu Yiu-chu, Mao Junnian, Martin Lee, Maria Tam and Szeto Wah.
