(Financial Daily report) Peking source: Drafting committee HK member Cha Chi-ming, in a paper submitted to the committee, suggests that an advisory council be set up here before 1997 to be responsible for proposing amendments to the Basic Law and for choosing a third of the members of the legislature. The

life will also be
responsible for selecting the Chief Executive of
the future SAR.
