As you know, I shall be away from the office from the
evening of 25 September until the afternoon of Wednesday,
9 October.
2.
Sir William Harding returns to the Office on the morning
of 25 September. During the week beginning 30 September
David Thomas will also be away. Please therefore submit as
many papers as possible direct to Private Offices during that
period to reduce the burden on Sir W Harding. Side copies
should, of course, continue to go to him for information.
3.
I assume that all departments are preparing a brief
resume of events for Sir W Harding on his return. Please
send side copies to me.
