The Secretary-General of the United Nations presents his compliments to the Principal Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
Ireland and has the honour to refer to the latter's note (undated), transmitting for registration in accordance with Article 102 of the Charter one certified true copy and three additional copies of the Joint Declaration on the question of Hong Kong, signed by the United Kingdom
and China on 19 December 1984.
Registration of the Declaration in question has been effected as at 12 June 1985, the date of its receipt at the Secretariat. The pertinent certificate of registration will be issued as soon as possible.
