HONG KONG AGREEMENT: NATIONALITY ORDER IN COUNCIL

Further to our telegrams of today's date, I enclose as promised a copy of the final text of the White Paper, as approved by the Prime Minister, Secretary of State and the Home Secretary. Other OD (K) members have yet to comment but the Home Ofice do not consider that there will be any significant changes. But of course if there are any amendments at all we shall telegraph for publication on 17 October and will confirm by telegram if this is possible.
