A person born in the dependent territories outside Hong Kong
to a parent who was at the time of birth settled in Hong
Kong. (Section 15 (1) BNA 1981).
A person born outside the Dependent Territories to a parent
who is a BDTC otherwise than by descent by reason of birth,
adoption, naturalisation or registration in Hong Kong.

A person who was a BDTC by reason of his birth, adoption,
naturalisation or registration in Hong Kong by reason of one
of his parents being born, adopted, naturalised or registered
in Hong Kong and who had ceased to be a BDTC as the result
of a declaration of renunciation of BDTC'ship, but sub-
sequently registered as a
a BDTC. (Section 24 BNA 1981).
A person born in the United Kingdom after 1 January 1983, who
is a BDTC on the grounds that he would otherwise be stateless
and one of his parents is a BDTC by reason of that parent's
birth, adoption, naturalisation or registration in Hong Kong.
