A CUKC registered in Hong Kong under section 12(6) of the BNA 1948 as amended by section 3(1)(b)(iii) of the BNA 1958 by virtue of descent in the male line from a person born or naturalised in Hong Kong. 23(1)(a)
A CUKC registered outside the dependent territories under section 12(6) of the BNA 1948 as amended by section 3(1)(b)(111) of the BNA 1958 by virtue of descent in the male line from a person born or naturalised in Hong Kong, 23(3)
A CUKC registered under section 1 of the BNA 1964 (Besumption) by virtue of a qualifying connection with Hong Kong or if a woman by virtue of having been married to a man who had such a connection. 23(4)
(A person has a qualifying connection with Hong Kong for the purposes of this section if he, his father or father's father was born, registered or naturalised in Hong Kong).
