Luce to the following MPs, who raised points during the Committee Stage which Mr Luce was not able to cover in his winding up speech:

Michael Marshall, Mr Luce undertook to respond.
Marshall after having considered the points he raised in
debate.
Mr George Robertson.
Mr Gerry Bermingham raised the very delicate question of
admission to the UK of those in
those in sensitive jobs with the Hong Kong
Government Mr Luce was not able to deal fully with the point
the debate, but it would be difficult to
y much more.
But if
having looked at Hansard Mr Luce considers that he should write
Mr Bermingham he could do so in the terms of the attached draft,
which we have cleared with the Home Office.
