Schedule, page 3, line 12, leave out sub-paragraph (4) and insert- "(4) No order shall be made under this paragraph unless a draft of it has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House
of Parliament".
ACTUAL TEXT
(4) A statutory instrument containing an Order under this paragraph shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either
House of Parliament.
EFFECT OF AMENDMENT
The effect of this amendment would be to make the Orders in Council under paragraph 3 (adaptation of law) subject to positive rather than negative resolution procedures.
