law of, or of any part of, the United Kingdom or of a British
possession other than Hong Kong and any provision contained in
Northern Ireland legislation.
EFFECT OF AMENDMENTS
The effect of these amendments would be to bind the Government to
making Orders in Council providing for the avoidance of
statelessness and to making the necessary or expedient Orders in
Council for the adaptation of law.
