DRAFT SPEECH FOR SECOND READING OF THE HONG KONG BILL, 21 JANUARY

1.

Lady Young has seen a copy of Mr Galsworthys submission of 14 January about the second reading of the Hong Kong Bill later this month. She has commented that it is more than likely that we shall come under pressure during the passage of the Bill to publish the draft Orders in Council on Nationality and feels that it would be worth considering with the Home Office whether this should be done and if so, when ?
