1. I attach a draft submission covering draft letters from Mr Luce to various MP's taking up points to which the Minister failed to reply in his winding-up speech. The only points which I have purposely not replied teo (excepting the purely debating points made by Mr Healey and Mr Robertson)
are:
(a) Sir John Page's reference to Hong Kong's role in EFTA
(col 798). This is too patently loony to reply to.
(b) Mr Russell Johnston's reference to Vietnamese refugees (col 771) and George Robertson's reference to the same subject (col 803).

The letters have been agreed by Mr Hoare and Mr Burrows.
