MINISTER OF STATE'S VISIT TO HONG KONG, SEPTEMBER 1985
1. We have asked FCO to find out what progress is being made on the arrangements for the Minister's visit.
2. I understand the Hong Kong Department of Technical Education and
Industrial Training will be making all the arrangements, and that a letter
from Mr Devereux, acting Director of the Department, is at present en route
to the Minister with details. The letter should arrive shortly, and perhaps
in the light of its contents we could consider further what additional
information the Minister needs.
