Thank you for the programmes proposed in TURS. We have
consulted Mr Luce, who is happy with the programme for 25 13 September and with most of that for 28-31 October. He has

however asked that we seek your views on two possible changes:
(a) Mr Luce would like to call on BTC and meet with Local
businessmen at a BTC reception. We wonder whether a lunch
17 hosted by the Senior Trade Commissioner might replace the lunch
which it was proposed be given by the Secretary for the Civil
Service on 31 October. Any civil service matters which you wish
to discuss with Mr Luce could perhaps be covered during your
meeting with him on 29 October. Cat which senior officials will be
present) or during the Chief Secretary's lunch on 30 October (to
which some young civil servants could perhaps be asked).
