The following is a statement made today (Monday) by Unofficial Legislative Council Member, Hon.Maria TAM, on the Legislative Council (Powers and Privileges) Bill 1985;
"At the meeting of Unofficial Members of Legoo this afternoon, Mombers reviewed afresh all the representations received on the Legislative Council (Powers and Privileges) Bill.
"We shall be addressing all the comments by the public on Wednesday and we see no valid reason for deferring the third reading beyond Wednesday, June 26th.
"Members were unanimous in reaching this decision."
