techno-economic and market research studies on major
sectors of the manufacturing industry viz. electronics,
plastics, metals, light engineering and garments/textiles.
Such research studies will examine the local characteristics
of the major sectors, their strength and weaknesses in
the context of world-wide trend and will in addition
identify, on a macro-level, technological development
trends and market potentials of their products. They will
assist individual manufacturers in formulating their plans
for expansion, diversification or upgrading.

calibration service to industry and other organisations.
Present services cover mainly the electrical and electronics
