the number of blind and deaf people now under Government care,

the amount of subvention provided tọ voluntary agencies for providing service to the blind and the dcaf in the past three years?
(a)
There are 7,151 deaf and partially nearing persons, and 12,364 blind and partially sighted persons registered in the Central Registry of the Disabled as receiving
services funded or subvented by Government.
(b) Under Hong Kong's 1584 Rehabilitation
Programme Flan blind and deaf people are receiving the following services:
(i)
identification anu assessment of
their disability,
(ii)
meuical treatment at clinics or
hospitals,
(iii)
special education, depending on age
and the extent of disability,
/(iv)
