The Council considered memorandum XCR (85)31.
The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:
(a)
that the objections to the
scheme which cannot be satisfied
should
be
rejected
as
recommended in paragraph 14 of
the
memorandum
with
the
exception that the possibility
of the payment of an ex-gratia
removal allowance to Madam
CHEUNG So (serial 6 of paragraph
8 of the memorandum) should be
considered;
(b) that under section 11(3) of the
Roads
(Works,
Use
and
Compensation) Ordinance (Chapter
370) the
Governor
should
exercise his discretion not to
refer the plan, scheme and
objections to the Town Planning
Board
mentioned
as
15(c)
sub-paragraph
memorandum;
