WATERWORKS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1985
REVISION OF WATER FEES FOR WATER SUPPLY FROM CHINA

The Council considered memoranda XCC(85)19 and
The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:
(a) that the proposed increase in
fees for water from China from
RMB 0.25 yuan to RMB 0.33 yuan
per cubic metre with effect from
1 May 1985 should be accepted,
subject to the provision of the
necessary funds by the Finance
Committee of the Legislative
Council (paragraph 11
of
memorandum XCC(85)21); and
(b) that the revised water tariff
charges proposed in paragraph 13
of memorandum XCC(85) 21 should
be adopted;
(c) that the proposed charges for
water supplies in paragraph 13
of memorandum XCC(85)21 should
be effective in respect of water
