The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:
(a) that payment of Mr Li's pension
(b)
should be withheld under section
5(3) of the Pensions Ordinance
(Chapter 89); and
that Mr Li should be allowed to
exercise
an option under
Pensions Regulation 23(1) for
the immediate grant of a
commuted gratuity in accordance
with the usual practice, but
with payment of the reduced
monthly pension withheld until
he attains the age of 45.

ROWLANDS, the Director of Personnel and Training, Royal
Hong Kong Police Force, Mr K.H. LOMAS, and the Senior
Assistant Crown Solicitor, Mr J. DAW, attended before
