VALEDICTORY
The Governor said that this was Mr Henry's last
attendance at an Executive Council meeting.
On behalf of the Council he wished
he wished to record
The Royal Hong Kong
their appreciation to Mr Henry.
Police Force had passed through
some critical times
during his time as Commissioner and its high morale owed
much to his leadership. He thanked Mr Henry for his
outstanding service and wished him a happy retirement.
Sir S.Y. Chung, on behalf of the Unofficial
Members, asked to be associated with these remarks.
The meeting concluded at 11.13 a.m.
