The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:
(a) that the Hong Kong Industrial
(b)
Estates Corporation (Amendment)
Bill 1985 as annexed to the
memorandum, should be introduced
into the Legislative Council;
that the appointment of the
Director of Industry as Chief
Executive be reviewed by 30 June
1986.
In giving publicity to these changes, it should
be stressed:
(i) that the Chairman would remain
an Unofficial;
(ii) that Unofficials would be in the
majority on the Board; and
(iii) that important decisions would
be taken by the Board, including
the allocation of land.
