FIFTH SCHEDULE

URBAN COUNCIL, REGIONAL COUNCIL AND

DISTRICT BOARDS ELECTION EXPENSES Order 1985

[s. 27.]

1. This order may be cited as the Urban Council, Regional Council and District Boards Election Expenses Order 1985.

2. For the purposes of section 13 of the Corrupt and Illegal Practices Ordinance, the maximum scale of election expenses shall be

(a) in the case of a candidate for election to the Urban Council $35,000; (b) in the case of a candidate for election to the Regional Council $35,000; (c) in the case of a candidate for election to a District Board $20,000, inclusive of any fees payable to an election agent and the personal expenses of the candidate.

Amendment of regulation 6.

AMENDMENTS TO THE POST Office REGULATIONS

Regulation 6(1)(d) of the Post Office Regulations is amended by deleting “Urban

Council election" and substituting the following

"Legislative Council election, any Urban Council election, any Regional Council election".
