I should mention in passing that the Secretary for District Administration held a meeting with representatives of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Hong Kong Institute of Planners, at their request, on 23 January; and I myself held a meeting with the Chairmen of the Hong Kong General
Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Chinese Manufacturers Association and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, at their request, on 24 January.
