speeches at the Signing Ceremony and at the Banquet in Peking. I understand from Percy Cradock that the speech for the
Banquet should be passed to the Chinese for translation;
will arrange for copies to be distributed at the Banquet.

second thoughts. I understand that consecutive translation will be provided at the Signing Ceremony. You will no doubt wish to arrange for the interpreter to have an advance sight of the text of the speech for that.
