1. I understand that News Department are fixing a
pre-visit press briefing at 3.15 pm on Friday, 14 December. I have agreed with Sir P Cradock that I will take this on.
2. Could you please jointly provide me with notes of
points to make. These can be in skeleton form. They
should include the latest information about the PM's
programme.
3. I should be grateful if somebody from FED and HKD
could attend to hold my hand.
4. Could News Department please tell me what journalists
are likely to attend and how long they expect the meeting
to last.
