However, be that as it may, it does seem that because of paragraph 3(1)(c) of the Schedule, if for no other reason, the Bill should indicate that it extends to Northern Ireland and all British possessions. There are no associated states left, and there seems to us to be no need to cater for the entirely hypothetical case that new ones might conceivably be created.
