Thank you for your letter of 22 November. sorry to read that our earlier paper took five days. to reach you. I hope we shall achieve a faster delivery
on this occasion.
2. I enclose a draft letter giving fresh Instructions to Parliamentary Counsel about the first draft Bill enclosed with his letter of 15 November. I have sought to take account of the points in your letter, and have added a few of my own. I should be grateful for any comments you may have on the section dealing with Nationality in sufficient time to enable me to write to de Waal by close of play on 26 November. As you will see from the last paragraph of the draft we need to have our Bill ready for the Legislation Committee on 2 December.
